iPhone SE 4 with OLED display and this flagship processor will be launched

Apple is expected to launch its fourth-generation iPhone SE in the first half of this year. In the recent past, several rumors surfaced about the launch timeline of the iPhone SE 4, and now new leaks are revealing its key specifications. The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is said to sport a 60Hz refresh rate display. It will run on Apple's A18 Bionic chip and offer a 48-megapixel rear camera. It will probably be called the iPhone 16e and is a cheaper option alongside the iPhone 16.

Tipster Digital Chat Section on the Chinese social media platform Weibo has claimed that the iPhone SE 4, also called the iPhone 16e, will be launched soon and will be Apple's cheapest iPhone. The tipster also revealed that the phone will come with a 6.06-inch full-HD+ LTPS OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Its display will have a notch design and it may support Face ID. The device will be based on Apple's A18 Bionic chip, which was recently introduced in the iPhone 16.

The iPhone SE 4 is said to boast a single 48-megapixel rear camera. Other expected features of the smartphone include a metal middle frame and waterproof design. Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu also confirmed the single rear camera on the iPhone SE 4. A tipster said that the phone will come with Apple's self-designed baseband, hinting at Apple's in-house 5G modem.

iPhone SE 4 was supposed to launch later this month alongside iPad 11 and iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 software updates, but Bloomberg's Mark Gurman countered this rumor stating that the smartphone will actually launch at the end of April. The price is reportedly less than 500 approximately Rs. 42,000. It can cost upwards of KRW 8,00,000 approximately Rs. 46,000 in South Korea.
