iPhone 17 Pro may remove 128GB storage option, base variant may also be priced higher

Information about the main features of the new handset has been revealed through leaks and reports. According to a new leak, the iPhone 17 Pro may offer more storage options than its previous version. Additionally, Apple might increase its base price this time. Currently, the iPhone 16 Pro comes with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

A Weibo post by tipster Setsuna Digital suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro could start with 256GB of storage. It also stated that its base price might be about $50 (roughly Rs 4,400) higher than its previous model. This indicates that Apple may skip the 128GB storage option, which justifies the increased base price.

Currently, the iPhone 16 Pro is available with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants. In India, the 128GB model starts at Rs 1,19,900, while the 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at Rs 1,29,900 and Rs 1,49,900, respectively. The 1TB iPhone 16 Pro costs Rs 1,69,900.
