Insta Scam: A fresh case of scam has come to light. A woman from Mangaluru saw an ad on Instagram. After clicking on the ad, Rs 74 lakh was withdrawn from her bank account.

People are seeing ads of investments with huge returns on social media and people are losing their savings due to greed. A fresh case of a similar scam has come to light.

A woman from Mangaluru saw an Instagram advertisement. After clicking on the advertisement, Rs 74 lakh was deducted from her bank account. According to the report, a woman from Mangaluru noticed an Instagram ad promising enormous rewards for a minimal investment. After clicking on the Instagram ad, a male messaged the woman via WhatsApp.

Following this, the woman joined a WhatsApp group called D101 Artemis Seminar Group. Every day, the woman received trading suggestions from the group. Meanwhile, a link was delivered to the woman. After clicking the link, she was prompted for certain information, and Rs 10,000 was invested. The investment yielded significant profits.

After investing Rs 10,000, the woman was told that more money would have to be invested for high returns and similarly, in several transactions, Rs 73.6 lakh was transferred to different accounts. The woman also transferred Rs 50,000 to the account of Artemis Profit Trading Company.

After all this, the woman realized that she was defrauded and she was not going to get her money now. The woman has lodged a complaint at the cyber police station and the matter is being investigated. You can also be a victim of this kind. The government is continuously telling people through social media not to trust online trading advertisements and not to make the mistake of giving money.
