For the remaining matches of the five-match T20 series being played against England, ll-rounder Shivam Dubey will be included in the Indian team. Shivam Dubey is likely to join the Indian team in the third T20 International match of the series to be played in Rajkot.

According to reports, Shivam Dubey, who was part of the T20 World Cup winning team in 2024, has been given a place in the team in view of Nitish Kumar Reddy's injury. Nitish Reddy was injured in the first match. He has not yet recovered from the injury. May be out of the team for about four weeks.

At the same time, Shivam Dubey, who is included in the Indian team, had a very disappointing recent performance in the domestic tournament Ranji Trophy. Shivam Dubey's most recent performance for Mumbai was the Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir, where he scored zero runs in both innings. Due to this, the Mumbai team had to face defeat.

A back injury ruled Shivam Dubey out of the initial phase of the Ranji Trophy, but he played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20 cricket), where he scored 151 runs in five matches at an average of 179.76 and also took three wickets at an economy rate of less than 10. He played for the Mumbai team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well.

Shivam Dubey, on the other hand, has been doing reasonably well for India ever since he made his debut in T20 international cricket in November 2019. He has scored 448 runs for India in 33 T20 Internationals at a strike rate of 134.93 and an average of 29.86, including 3 half-centuries. His best score in this format is an unbeaten 63.
