Hyundai Venue EMI Plan Explained: Pay Just ₹11,232/Month with ₹2 Lakh Down Payment

Hyundai, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India, has introduced the next-generation Hyundai Venue in the Compact SUV category. If you're considering buying this SUV, how much EMI can you pay each month after making a down payment of ₹2 lakh? We're telling you in this article.

The Hyundai Venue is available in the Compact SUV segment. The starting price of the car is ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). The on-road cost of the car in Delhi will be around ₹8.98 lakh. It includes the ex-showroom cost of ₹8 lakh and approximately ₹56,000 towards RTO charges, and ₹42,000 for the insurance cost.

In case you purchase the base petrol variant, the bank will finance your ex-showroom cost. You will have to make an initial down payment of ₹2 lakh, which leaves your financed amount to ₹6.98 lakh. If you are given ₹6.98 lakh for seven years at a nine percent interest rate, you will have to pay only ₹11,232 in EMIs for the next seven years.

If you take a car loan from a bank for ₹6.98 lakh for seven years at a nine percent interest rate, you will have to pay ₹11,232 in EMIs every seven years. Thus, over seven years, you will pay approximately ₹2.45 lakh in interest for the Hyundai Venue. After which, you will pay a total price of around ₹11.43 lakh (ex-showroom, on-road charges, and interest).

Hyundai offers the Venue in the compact SUV segment. As such, it competes directly with SUVs like the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
