Honor Watch 5 Pro Announced with Sleep Apnea Detection and ECG Tracking
Honor has launched its new smartwatch, the Honor Watch 5 Pro, in China. This watch comes with health and fitness tracking features, including advanced tools like blood pressure, ECG, and sleep apnea monitoring. The company has introduced it in several color editions and it will be available for sale in China from October 23rd.
The Honor Watch 5 Pro was unveiled in China on Wednesday by Chinese phone maker Honor. The company also rolled out the Honor Magic 8, Magic 8 Pro, MagicPad 3 (12.5), MagicPad 13 Pro, and Honor Earbuds 4 TWS earbuds during its October 2025 launch event. The new smartwatch is part of the already existing Honor Watch 5 series that includes the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Ultra. The Honor Watch 5 Pro also comes with health and fitness tracking capabilities such as detection of sleep apnea, sleep tracking, and monitoring of the heart rate.
The Honor Watch 5 Pro costs at least CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 20,000) for the Bluetooth-only model. The eSIM Astronomer and eSIM Explorer models will be offered at CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 21,000) and CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 23,000).
The new smartwatch will be available for sale on the company's online store in China starting October 23. The Honor Watch 5 Pro is currently available for pre-order in Trailblazer (Black), Astronomer (Black), Climber (Orange), Voyager (Green), and Explorer (Green) editions.

The Honor Watch 5 Pro features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display housed in a 46.3mm circular dial. Its touchscreen comes with a 466x466 pixel resolution and 310ppi pixel density. It supports wrist raise to wake, key press to wake, and touch to wake features. This smartwatch comes with a fluororubber strap. It is compatible with Android 9 and newer and iOS 13 and later. It also has a rotatable crown and navigation buttons on the right side.
Honor's new Watch 5 Pro comes with several health tracking features. It has built-in blood pressure monitoring and ECG tracking. It is also capable of sleep apnea detection, sleep monitoring, and heart rate monitoring.
It has a 515mAh battery that supports wireless charging and comes with a charging base. The company claims that it can provide up to 15 days of battery life in Bluetooth mode and up to 10 days of usage in eSIM dual-terminal mode. In eSIM-only mode, the smartwatch is capable of providing up to 3 days of backup. It has 65MB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
The new Honor Watch 5 Pro comes with 5ATM + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings, making it dust and water resistant. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2, which supports a range of up to 200m. It also has GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou and QZSS support. The list of onboard sensors includes accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, ECG sensor and geomagnetic sensor. The Watch 5 Pro weighs 51.1 grams without strap and 77.9 grams with a strap.
