Honda Elevate Black Edition is going to be launched on January 7. Recently this SUV was spotted during testing in production-ready form, after which there were speculations of its launch soon. Honda Elevate Black Edition can be offered in two variants, which can be Elevate Black Edition and Elevate Signature Black Edition.

According to a report by Autocar, the Honda Elevate Black Edition will get Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint with gloss black painted alloy wheels, an all-black interior with leatherette seats, chrome finish on the upper grille, and silver finish on the roof rails. Silver finish will also be seen on the lower part of its doors.

The Elevate Signature Black Edition will get the same setup for exterior, interior, and alloy wheels. Along with this, a black painted upper grille, black finish on roof rails, black finish on front and rear faux skid plates, black finish on the lower part of the doors, and extra logo on the front fender will also be seen. Apart from this, 7 color interior ambient lighting will also be seen in the Black Edition.

The Black and Elevate Signature Black Editions of Honda Elevate will be based on the top variant, which simply means that it is going to be fully equipped in terms of features. Single pan sunroof and ADAS will also be seen in the Black Edition.

The Honda Elevate Black Edition is not expected to get any mechanical updates. It will continue with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as before, and will be available with a choice of a manual or CVT automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, this very engine will continue to produce the same power and torque figures as before.

Price of Honda Elevate ex-showroom ranges from Rs 11.69 lakh to Rs 15.41 lakh. Considering this, it is expected that the price of the Black Edition can be more than Rs 75,000 than the current model. It will compete with Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Kushaq and Taigun in the Indian market.
