Discover new Skoda Kodiaq launching in 2025 and was spotted during testing 

The new Skoda Kodiaq is going to be launched next year. This will be its next generation. It has recently been spotted during testing on the roads of India. During this, test mules without camouflage have been seen, that too two. This shows that Kodiaq can be offered in two trim levels.

Both the test mules of Skoda Kodiaq have been seen with different specifications. One of its test mules has body-colour bumpers with contrasting black trim and chrome garnish. Seeing which it is known that this will be a high-spec trim. The second model is going to be quite simple design. Black plastic and silver contrasting elements can be seen in it. Even their alloy wheels are different in design. Where one features an aero-optimized design, the other is more towards the multi-spoke design.

The Kodiaq sold in the Indian market was priced at Rs 39.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It came in three trims - Style, Sportline, and L&K. Only two Kodiaqs have been spotted testing yet, but it is most probably sure that it would make it to India in a few trims.

The new Kodiaq can share the same powertrain as the old model. It will be getting a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that would deliver 190 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine of the car can be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch auto-feeding power.

New Kodiaq might get features like a 13-inch freestanding touch screen, digital instrument cluster, three physical rotary dials with an in-built display for HVAC and media control, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting. Although slightly longer than the current model it might have no change in wheelbase, which looks at the interior might be similar to the current model.

The new generation of the Skoda Kodiaq might come to India in the second quarter of next year. In India, after its launch, the Skoda Kodiaq will compete with its competitors, including the Jeep Meridian and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron.
