Dr. Chirag Joshi, Director of UN Mehta Hospital, said that there can be many reasons for sudden death in any person. Not every sudden death is cardiac death. Heart attack is the cause of sudden death only in a few cases. He said that before the coronavirus period in UN Mehta Hospital, the average number of heart attack patients was 8 to 11 percent per year, which has been seen to be around 12 percent in the post-Corona data till the year 2023.
