BYD Sealion 7 is going to be released by BYD in the Indian automotive industry as a new electric SUV. BYD Sealion 7 is going to be officially released on 17 February 2025. Earlier it was presented at Auto Expo 2025 which was organized by Bharat Mobility 2025.
Many great features have been offered in the BYD Sealion 7 electric SUV. There are so many things like 12 speakers, a wireless phone charger, a water drop rear lamp, a vehicle to load, a 15.6-inch display for infotainment, a Nappa leather seat, 128-color ambiance lights, a panoramic sunroof, and head-up display.
The company has given it a battery capacity of 82.56 kWh. The model has so far only been available in performance and premium trims. The motor in it gives it power of 390 kW and torque of 690 Newton meters. The motor of the model has the capability to take it to the speed of 100 kilometers in just 4.5 seconds. It has a maximum range of 567 km on full charge. The company will provide with the model a charger of a capacity of 7KW.
The price of the Sealion 7 electric SUV has not been given by the company yet. But it is likely that it will be launched at around Rs 50 lakh ex-showroom price. Booking for the SUV is going on from 18 January 2025. Special benefits will be given by the company on booking before the launch. The SUV can be booked for Rs 70 thousand.
BYD Sealion 7 electric SUV will be brought by the company in the premium segment. In this segment, it will compete directly with electric SUVs like the Hyundai Ioniq5, Kia EV6, and BMW iX7.
