Rajasthan Grounds Rs 8 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals
Rajasthan has grounded investment proposals worth over Rs 8 lakh crore from the Rising Rajasthan summit and aims to meet November 2026 targets.
Jaipur, July 28 — Rajasthan has moved investment proposals worth more than Rs 8 lakh crore from the ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit’ into the implementation stage, with the state government now focusing on converting signed agreements into operational projects by November 2026.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas reviewed the progress of investment memorandums of understanding (MoUs) at the Government Secretariat on Tuesday and directed all departments to accelerate execution. He stressed that the priority has shifted from the signing of agreements to ensuring that projects are physically grounded within fixed timelines.
Departments have been instructed to hold regular review meetings, resolve pending issues on a priority basis, and ensure time-bound clearance of proposals and files. Srinivas also called for closer coordination with district collectors to remove administrative and logistical hurdles that could delay project execution.
