Mercedes-Benz CLA Secures 5-Star Euro NCAP Rating with Top Scores Across Categories
Mercedes-Benz CLA: Mercedes-Benz's new CLA has received a 5-star safety rating. In crash tests, the car performed well in terms of protecting adults, children, and pedestrians.
Mercedes-Benz's new CLA has received a 5-star safety rating in Euro NCAP crash tests. The model comes equipped with either a petrol or an electric engine in Europe. The CLA performed excellently in the following test categories: adults and children occupant protection, pedestrian protection, and intelligent driver-assist systems.
In adult occupant protection, the CLA scored 94 percent. According to Euro NCAP, this reflects the car's robust structure and excellent safety systems. The car's cabin remained stable in frontal collision tests. It provided good protection for the driver and front passenger's vital body parts, including the head, neck, chest, and legs.
It received 89% for child safety. The car is equipped with airbags that automatically inflate in case it detects a child seat in the passenger seat, making sure that there are no injuries caused.
