The AXT is the basic diesel model of the Thar SUV and the ex-showroom price is ₹9.99 lakh. In case you purchase the SUV in Delhi, the total cost would include ₹9.99 lakh plus the cost of registration and insurance. The registration cost is ₹87,000 while the insurance is around ₹49,000 and thus the on-road price comes out to be ₹11.36 lakh.
In case you purchase the base diesel Thar, the bank will fund you for the ex-showroom price. With an initial payment of ₹2 lakh, you will need finance of ₹9.36 lakh from the bank. Assuming that the bank finances ₹9.36 lakh for a period of seven years at 9% interest rate, the monthly EMI would work out to ₹15,067.
