Ampere Reo 80 EV launched, no need for license and RC; Know about the amazing features

Ampere electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) has launched its new Ampere Reo 80 electric scooter in India. It has been priced at approximately Rs 60 thousand (ex-showroom). Its launch is expected to commence in April 2025. According to the company, this launch is a major step towards taking their "Every Street Electric" thinking forward. They want electric vehicles on every street and in every locality.

Ampere Reo 80 is designed especially for those who are looking to purchase an electric vehicle for the very first time. Be it students, elderly people, or those who are looking for an easy, affordable option for the family, this scooter has everyone's budget in mind. It is an advanced version of the already popular Reo model. It is in the category of low-speed e-scooter and has a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour.

Many new and user-friendly features have been given in Ampere Reo 80. It has a color LCD display which shows all the important information related to the ride. It has an LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery which not only lasts long but also protects from thermal safety i.e. overheating. According to the company, this electric scooter can cover a distance of up to 80 km on a single full charge.
