With the Lok Sabha elections in just a few days, the BJP has begun campaigning to increase its influence in the South. Today, the party's campaigns in Kerala, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP has not yet got a big lead in the South.

At 10.30 a.m., PM Modi will arrive in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, where he will be greeted by BJP state chief K Surendran. In addition, Prakash Javadekar, the party's Kerala in-charge, George Kurien, the state general secretary, and VA Suraj, the district president of Pathanamthitta, will be present during this time. The prime minister will speak at a public gathering here, according to sources. There should be about a lakh attendees at this meeting.

The meeting will also be attended by NDA Lok Sabha MPs Baiju Kalasala, Anil K Antony, Shobha Surendran, and V Muraleedharan. Padmaja Venugopal, the daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister K. PM Modi will also campaign in Telangana today. He will attend a road show in Malkajgiri this evening. During this, he will be joined by the party's Lok Sabha candidate Eatala Rajender and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. Due to the road show, the police have issued a traffic advisory for the general public. Some areas will remain restricted to the public until the roadshow is over.

PM Modi will attend a meeting in Nagarkurnool tomorrow after spending the night at Raj Bhavan. On Sunday, the Prime Minister will attend the joint meeting of BJP-TDP and Janasena in Chilakaluripeta.
