Big feature is coming in WhatsApp, you will be able to send messages from this app to other apps

In the last few months, Meta has introduced many features for WhatsApp, ranging from privacy to user-friendly features. Recently WhatsApp has introduced a chat lock feature for the web version. Apart from this, WhatsApp is working on a privacy feature after which no one will be able to take a screenshot of your profile photo.

According to a report, through WhatsApp, you will also be able to message on other messaging apps like Signal and Telegram. The new feature is currently being tested. Ever since WhatsApp was launched, it has not had the feature of third-party or cross-messaging.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update, which is visible in version 2.24.6.2. Following this update, WhatsApp will support messaging from third parties.

The provision of said feature had been requested by the Digital Market Act (DMA). It appears that WhatsApp is now giving it serious thought. It has been reported that WhatsApp will have a dedicated chat screen for users chatting through third-party apps; however, WhatsApp will not display the user's profile when they are chatting through third-party apps.
