BenQ Introduces 23.8-Inch and 27-Inch Full-HD 144Hz Monitors With 20W Power Delivery
BenQ has launched two new GW90TC series monitors in India. The new BenQ GW2490TC and GW2790TC monitors feature full-HD panels that offer a 144Hz refresh rate. The BenQ GW2490TC has a 23.8-inch panel, while the BenQ GW2790TC has a larger 27-inch display. Let's find out the details.
BenQ introduced two new GW90TC series monitors in India last Friday. The BenQ GW2490TC and GW2790TC feature full-HD IPS panels with a 144Hz refresh rate and support USB Type-C connectivity. These monitors support various color modes and can deliver up to 20W of power. The GW2490TC has a 23.8-inch screen, while the GW2790TC features a larger 27-inch display. Both models come with dual 2W speakers and a headphone jack.
The BenQ GW2490TC is priced at ₹12,750, and the GW2790TC costs ₹14,990. Both are currently available through authorized retailers and major e-commerce platforms in India.
BenQ also announced upcoming models - the GW2490C and GW2790C - priced at ₹9,589 and ₹11,989, respectively.

The GW90TC series includes Full HD (1080x1920) IPS panels with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 5ms response time. They support AMD FreeSync and include BenQ’s Flicker-Free, Low Blue Light, and Visual Optimizer eye comfort technologies. An adjustable stand allows users to customize their setup.
The GW2790TC has a 27-inch LED-backlit panel, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, 178-degree viewing angles, and a pixel density of 82ppi. It features adjustable gamma (1.8 to 2.6) and HDCP 1.4 support.
The GW2490TC offers a 23.8-inch LED panel, with a pixel density of 93 PPI, 144Hz refresh rate, 250 nits brightness, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 178-degree viewing angles. Gamma can be adjusted between 1.8 and 2.6 for viewing comfort.
Both monitors include dual 2W speakers, a headphone jack, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and a USB Type-C port supporting 20W power, DisplayPort Alt Mode, and data transfer. They feature multiple color modes such as Standard, Game, ePaper, Care Mode, and Cinema.
