Bajaj launches new Pulsar NS125 with ABS, can give tough competition to Hero Xtreme 125R
Bajaj: Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 was launched by the company last year with an upgrade, in which new headlamps were given with LED daytime running lamps. Now the company has also added ABS to it.

Bajaj Auto has launched an updated variant of its best-selling bike Pulsar NS 125. In newer variants of the Pulsar NS125 bike, the buyers shall receive single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) alongside disc brakes. Since this facility has been included, this bike has proved to be even secure. Now this bike by Bajaj shall give tough competition to Hero Xtreme 125R, which has previously retailed single-channel ABS.

This bike comes with an instrument cluster featuring full digitization, showing details like real-time fuel efficiency, speed, mileage, and gear indicators. Not only this, but the instrument cluster also comes with Bluetooth connectivity through the Bajaj Ride Connect app. Apart from this, there has also been an addition of a USB charging option for the mobile. The bike has also been equipped with single-channel ABS with side stand cutoff. The company has not changed any design. The bike still comes with the same naked streetfighter design.
Talking about the engine, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 has an air-cooled, 4-valve engine of capacity 124.45 cc, delivering power of 12bhp and torque of 11Nm. The engine comes coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike gets a disc brake measuring 240mm at the front and a disc brake measuring 130mm at the back. ARAI-certified mileage of Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 is 64.75 km/l.
The price of this new Pulsar NS125 of Bajaj Auto is around Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom). This popular bike of Bajaj will compete directly with Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider. The price of this bike from Hero MotoCorp is around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), while the price of the TVS bike starts at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
