Adani Group and Google have joined hands to promote green energy. The aim of this partnership is to advance the companies' overall sustainability goals while also adding more clean energy to India's grid. Through this collaboration, the Adani Group will provide clean energy from a new solar-wind hybrid project at the world's largest renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat. This new project is expected to start commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.

The project will be developed with a proven capability for providing wind, solar, hybrid, and energy storage. From this project, Adani will be in a position whereby it can offer tailored renewable energy solutions to its commercial and industrial customers to suit its needs for energy and reduction of its carbon footprint.

The Adani Group plans to bring this thrust up in the Merchant and CB1 segments to help the industry decarbonize. This innovative collaboration will ensure that Google's goals of 24x7 carbon-free energy are achieved by cloud services and operations supported with clean energy in India. This collaboration will thus contribute to Google's sustainable growth in India.
