Champions Trophy 2025: England had a poor performance in the last ICC ODI event, after which taking a tough decision, the England and Wales Cricket Board changed half the team. The 15-member team includes only 7 players who played in the ODI World Cup in India.
The Champions Trophy is going to be organized after 7 years under the hosting of Pakistan. Earlier, England itself hosted the Champions Trophy in 2013 and 2017. In 2013, India won the title by defeating England and in 2017 Pakistan achieved success by defeating India. England won the last ICC Trophy in 2022 and they defeated Pakistan in the final. Now the Champions Trophy is being hosted by Pakistan, and for the first time, England has announced its team.
