Team India's young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal said on Wednesday that Rohit Sharma's scoldings are always laced with love and affection, and when he does not get them, he feels uneasy. Speaking at the "Agenda Aaj Tak" conclave, Yashasvi explained that Rohit's playful scolding and taunting during fielding still make the entire team laugh and become memes on social media.

Yashasvi Jaiswal said, "Whenever Rohit Bhaiya scolds us, there's a lot of affection and love hidden behind it. To be honest, if Rohit Bhaiya isn't scolding us, I feel like something's wrong. What happened? Why aren't you scolding? Did he feel bad about something I said?" Recalling his first ODI century, Jaiswal explained how batting with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is an inspiring experience for young players.

He said, "When Rohit and Virat are in the dressing room, the atmosphere is different. They talk about the game and share their experiences. The intensity and passion they've shown for India is an inspiration for us." Yashasvi revealed that during the Visakhapatnam ODI, Rohit told him to stay calm and take his time, saying, "I'll take the risks." Virat Kohli gave him small targets and said, "We have to finish this match ourselves."
