Yamaha Ray ZR and Fascino Fi hybrid faced this big problem, the company will make 3 lakh scooters for free

Three lakh units of Yamaha Motor India's two well-liked 125cc scooters, the Ray ZR and the Fascino Fi hybrid have been recalled. A recall has been issued by the two-wheeler manufacturer because of defective brake parts that were installed in these models.

The hybrid Ray ZR and Fascino Fi models that are impacted by these recalls were manufactured in the previous 24 months. The necessary repairs to restore these scooters to safe driving conditions will be covered by Yamaha.

According to the statement issued by Yamaha Motor, the scooters which have been recalled were manufactured between January 1, 2022 and January 4 this year. The two-wheeler maker said the recall is voluntary and is effective with immediate effect.

Yamaha has also said that the recall is aimed at solving the problem of faulty brake parts in the Ray ZR and Fascino Fi hybrid scooters. Yamaha said that the issue will affect the brake lever function of the recalled units of these scooters. The two-wheeler manufacturer has said that it will replace the faulty brake parts without charging its owners.

Yamaha has asked owners of all recalled scooters to verify eligibility for the recall by visiting nearby Yamaha service centres or the service section on Yamaha's official website and checking the steps required for recall using the scooter's chassis number. Will happen.

Ray ZR 125 is sold in India in two variants – drum and disc. The drum variant is priced at Rs 73,330, while the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 76,330.

Yamaha Fascino 125 is also offered in two variants – drum and disc. While the price of the first is Rs 72,030, the price of the second has been kept at Rs 74,530.
