India's Axar Patel made another notable improvement in the all-rounder category, jumping 17 spots to 13th spot, registering a career-best 194 rating points. India opener Shubman Gill remains at No. 1 in the ODI batsmen's rankings while his teammate Virat Kohli has moved up to the fourth spot after being named Player of the Match against Australia in the Champions Trophy semi-final in Dubai.
The latest update of the ICC rankings also saw significant changes among batsmen. Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran, who hit a sensational 177 against England in Lahore, climbed 13 spots to enter the top 10 at 10th position (676 rating points). Another high-profile veteran Kiwi Kane Williamson also made it to the 29th spot, climbing eight spots.
In the bowling department, New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry has been rewarded for his excellent performance. He has climbed three places to reach the third position (649 rating points).
