Two-seater taxis will fly in Paris Olympics, administration approves landing pad on Seine river

For the services of two-seater flying taxis in the Paris Olympics, the administration has approved the landing pad on the Seine river. This taxi is an electric helicopter, which has several rotors. Its flying capability has been tested amid air traffic.

German company Volocopter will start this taxi service, which has been named Volocity. According to the company's CEO Dirk Hoek, after several tests, it has got the certificate for commercial flight. It will be launched during the Paris Olympics so that we can give the world better technology and a pleasant travel experience. Volocity is completely automatic. It will take off from a fixed place and land at another fixed place. During the initial test, it was flown with only one person on board. Later, the test with two passengers was also successful.

Pilot Paul Stone, who flies Volocity, says that this taxi works on a digital fly-by-wire system. It can be flown more easily than a normal helicopter. In a helicopter, you have to press buttons above your head and keep an eye on keyboards in front of your stomach. All this is done very easily in Volocity.
