The Tata Nexon EV is one of India's most popular electric SUVs. It boasts a stunning design and a host of features. The company claims that its Nexon EV has a range of 489 km on a single charge. If you are considering buying this car, here are a few things to consider:

The look and design are similar to those of the petrol and diesel version of Nexon. Tata Motors uses similar tech in its other EV models, such as Tata Harrier EV and Tata Tigor EV. It has LED lights on top, and its main headlights are placed inside the car’s bumper. The only difference from the regular Nexon version is its front grille, which has a different look.

The car has a very modern-looking cockpit inside. It has a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen display, which has wireless connectivity options for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Steering control buttons, and all four windows are operated via the power button. These features make it an excellent EV option.

The Tata Nexon EV comes with two battery options: a 30kWh battery and a larger 45kWh battery. The 30kWh battery produces 127bhp and can deliver a range of up to 325km on a full charge. The 45kWh battery produces 142bhp and can deliver a range of approximately 489km on a full charge.

The Tata Nexon EV also comes with essential features like six airbags, ABS, and disc brakes on all four wheels. Additionally, it features a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and mountain road safety features. Most notably, the car received a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test.

The Nexon EV starts at ₹12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the model and battery. In the Indian market, it competes with electric vehicles like the Mahindra XUV 400 and Citroen eC3.
