The second Test of the three-Test series between Australia and Pakistan will be played on Boxing Day on 26 December. Pakistan team is trailing 0-1 in this series and unfit players are becoming a headache for Pakistan. Pakistan's spin bowler Nauman Ali has been ruled out of the remaining two tests of this series. It is being told that Nauman Ali suddenly had severe stomach pain, after which he had to be admitted to the hospital. After examination in the hospital, information has been received that Nauman Ali is suffering from appendicitis. After the surgery, PCB has updated that Nauman Ali's condition is better now.

Spinner Nauman Ali was part of Pakistan's current squad in the three-Test series against Australia. Sajid Khan was included in the team after the injury to Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed. Pakistan team had to play without a specialist spinner in the Perth Test. At that time Nauman was not available for selection due to finger injury.

Pakistan's debutant fast bowler Khurram Shehzad has also been ruled out of the Perth Test due to injury. At the same time, Naseem Shah is already unfit. While Haris Rauf had withdrawn his name from the Test team. In the Perth Test, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Khurram and another debutant fast bowler Aamir Jamal took charge of the pace attack.
