After the IPL, the T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA). Due to this, he is facing some problems in getting an American visa. To solve this problem he has returned to Bangladesh.

In order to finish his biometrics for his US visa, Mustafizur travelled to Bangladesh. April 4 is the scheduled date for the biometrics appointment. Once the biometrics procedure is complete, they won't be able to travel to India. since before returning the passport, they will need to endure a waiting time. He will stay in his home country during this time. He will miss multiple matches for Chennai if this takes place.
