BCCI Names 30 Probables for Asian Games, Suryakumar Yadav and Mohammed Siraj Miss Out
Asian Games 2026 India cricket probables squad: The BCCI has released a list of 30 probable players for the Asian Games. Suryakumar Yadav is omitted, while 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been included.
BCCI has selected a whopping list of 30 potential candidates to represent India at the Asian Games which will take place at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The main shockers include T20 skipper Suryakumar Yadav and fast bowler Mohammed Siraj, both of whom have been overlooked by the selectors for the Asian Games team.
Suryakumar Yadav has definitely missed the train for Asian Games since the 15-member final squad will surely be picked from the list of 30 players provided by BCCI to the organizing committee.
However, this list includes 13 key players from the T20 World Cup-winning team, including prominent names like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh, and Ishan Kishan. Consequently, the Indian team will take the field under a new captain to defend its gold medal. The team also includes Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
