Singapore will take part in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), which will take place in Gandhinagar from January 9–12, as a partner nation. This information was provided by a statement from the Singapore High Commission, which is located in New Delhi. The statement from the Singapore High Commission stated that Singapore and its businesses would increase their commercial ties with Gujarat. Increased funding for Gujarat's sustainability and green economy sectors would be used to achieve this.

Details on investment will be provided during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), which is scheduled to take place in Gandhinagar from January 9–12. Along with thirty other nations, Singapore will take part in VGGS as a partner country. To support Singaporean businesses operating with a significant presence in the state, a special Singapore Pavilion will also be erected.

Singapore has also announced that it will be attending the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet in 2024. On January 7 and 8, it will take place in Chennai. According to the statement, Singapore and its businesses would deepen their economic ties with Tamil Nadu. The state of Tamil Nadu's green economy, sustainability, and infrastructure development—including data centres, IT parks, and logistics—will all see a rise in its investment.

The announcement of these investments will take place on January 7 and 8 in Chennai during the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (TNGIM). According to the Singapore High Commission, Singapore will take part in TNGIM as the first partner nation, joining eight other nations.
