Maruti Suzuki is launching its first electric SUV e Vitara at Auto Expo 2025. The company has developed its Heartect-E platform in collaboration with Toyota. The e-Vitara is expected to get many battery pack options as well as an all-wheel-drive system.

Recently, a teaser was released, in which its exterior design was seen. It had tri-slash LED daytime running lights and the Maruti Suzuki logo in the middle. Along with this, a sculpted bonnet and a bold bumper were also seen.

Talking about its rear and side profile, it can get to see 18-inch alloy wheels, C-pillar-mounted door handles, wheel arch cladding, a roof spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, a strong rear bumper, and lightbar-style tail lamps.

Talking about the interior of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, you can get to see the instrument cluster and infotainment system integrated screen. Its dashboard can be offered with a dual-tone interior. It can also be given a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and updated AC vents, which will further enhance its functionality and design.

Meanwhile, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats could be some of the features of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. On the safety front for the passenger, the car could get six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has been developed in collaboration with Toyota and is built on a skateboard platform. There will be two battery packs to see in it, which are 49 kWh pack and 61 kWh. Its motor can be combined with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. As far as the battery range of this model is concerned, it has been confirmed that the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will get more than 500 km after being fully charged.

Maruti Suzuki claims that the battery pack weighs between 600 to 700 kg. As the battery is not too heavy, its capacity and long driving range will play a major role.
