PKL Most Expensive Player: Sachin Tanwar has become the most expensive player in the history of Pro Kabaddi League, who was bought by Tamil Thalaivas for more than Rs 2 crore.
Day one of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 auction broke many records. The long-time servant at Patna Pirates Sachin Tanwar was picked up by Tamil Thalaivas for Rs 2.15 crore as he become the most-costly player in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. Probably, the most special thing in the Pro Kabaddi 2024 auction was that most of the star players of Patna Pirates were bought by other teams. Sachin Tanwar, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh, and Guman Singh left Patna Pirates.
Sachin Tanwar became the costliest player on the opening day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 auction. Mohammadreza Chiyaneh was bought by Haryana Steelers for 2.07 crores to become the costliest all-rounder ever. Guman Singh was bought by Gujarat Giants for 1.97 crores as Pawan Sehrawat was retained by Telugu Titans for 1.72 crores. UP Yoddha added KS Bharat of Bengaluru Bulls for 1.30 crores.
While players like Rohit Gulia and Vishal Bhardwaj remained unsold on the opening day, Siddharth Desai was sold to Dabang Delhi for only 26 lakhs. It was a sort of jackpot for Delhi. Pardeep Narwal's team has changed and now he will play with Bengaluru Bulls. Fazel Atrachalli has again been bought by Bengal Warriors and he will take on the opponents to make the team champion along with Maninder Singh.
