Pakistan defeated by indigenous technology, India's air defense also broke the pride of China and Turkey

India's success in integrating drone warfare into military doctrine is due to years of domestic R&D and policy reform. The ban on imported drones from 2021 and the introduction of the PLI scheme have promoted rapid innovation. The future lies in autonomous drones making AI-powered decisions, and India is already laying the foundation for it.

India dismantled terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. It was Operation Sindoor. India got rid of terrorist hideouts without violating the border. Operation Sindoor waved the Indian flag of self-sufficiency in technology in military operations.

Pakistan attempted to launch dozens of attacks on Indian cities using drones and missiles, but was foiled by India's Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defense System. India knocked out the air defense system of Lahore in a counter-attack. Indigenous systems such as Pecora, OSA-AK, and LLAD guns and Akash performed superiorly under Operation Sindoor.

In this mission, the three armies of India have collectively defeated the enemy. The attacks have been of high efficiency with the employment of India's indigenous and modern technology, ranging from long-range drones to target-penetrating weapons. The mission took 23 minutes by jamming the air defense system provided by China to Pakistan.

The Air Force not only destroyed Chinese-made PL 15 missiles, Turkey's Yiha, long-range rockets, quadcopters, and commercial drones, but also showed the mirror to the terrorists' aides by presenting their evidence. Even after taking weapons from its masters, Pakistan could not penetrate India's air defense.

A unique defensive layer was created by the Army and Air Force's counter-unmanned aerial systems, electronic warfare assets, and air defense systems. ISRO also contributed a lot. Speaking at an event, ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said at least 10 satellites are working continuously around the clock to ensure the safety of the country's citizens.

Operation Sindoor is not just a tactical success story. It is a validation of India's defence indigenisation policies. From air defence systems to drones, counter-UAS capabilities to net-centric warfare platforms, indigenous technology has delivered when it was needed the most.
