Nothing Launches Nothing Phone (4a) Series with AMOLED Display and Periscope Camera
Nothing's new 5G phones, the Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro, go on sale today, March 13th. These phones come with major upgrades from their previous series, including improved cameras, battery life, and overall functionality.
Nothing recently launched two new 5G phones, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. These new smartphones promise significant upgrades over the company's Nothing Phone (3a) series, boasting improvements in camera performance, battery life, and overall functionality.
Both devices go on sale today, March 13th. Let's first explore the prices of both devices and then see what's different between them...
- The Nothing Phone 4a is priced at ₹31,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
- The Nothing Phone 4a is priced at ₹34,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
- The Nothing Phone 4a is priced at ₹37,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant.

- The base 8GB + 128GB option of the Nothing Phone 4a Pro costs ₹39,999.
- The base 8GB + 256GB option of the Nothing Phone 4a Pro costs ₹42,999.
- The top-end 12GB RAM and 256GB Nothing Phone 4a Pro costs ₹45,999.
Both of these Nothing phones feature 1.5K AMOLED displays. Both devices come with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and HDR10+ support. However, the Phone 4a Pro's screen is slightly larger at 6.83 inches than the Nothing Phone 4a's 6.78-inch display. The Pro model also has a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Phone 4a supports 120Hz like its predecessor.
Both devices have a triple camera setup, as well as a periscope lens for the first time on any phone from the A series. The Pro variant features a higher-quality primary camera, a 50MP Sony LYT700C sensor, whereas the normal 4a variant features a 50MP Samsung GN9 sensor. The Pro variant can digitally zoom 140x, whereas the normal 4a variant can digitally zoom 70x. The devices are both equipped with 8MP ultra-wide-angle cameras, as well as 32MP front cameras.
Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone 4a Pro are both powered by the Snapdragon 7th Gen processor, not the flagship processor. The Phone (4a) is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, whereas the Phone 4a Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7th Gen 4 processor. Speaking of battery, both devices have the same battery life. These phones pack a 5,400 mAh battery and support 50W wired charging. However, these devices don't support wireless charging. The Phone (4a) Pro model, however, offers power sharing for charging other devices.
