Donald Trump Re-shares ‘Hell-Hole’ Post on India, MEA Calls Remarks ‘Ill-Informed and Inappropriate’

Following Trump's re-sharing of the post, the US Embassy of India stated that India is a wonderful country and that Narendra Modi is a wonderful friend of Donald Trump. Following Trump's re-sharing of the post and the US Embassy's clarification, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has now issued a statement.
Addressing the matter without naming the US president, the Ministry stated that such remarks are not reflective of the reality of the relationship between India and the USA, which has always been built on respect and common interest.
