Maruti showcased the eVX for the first time during January 2023's Auto Expo. This was where the company presented the concept version on this very platform. After that, it has also been showcased during the Bharat Mobility held in 2024.
The company has provided information regarding the range and battery in the Auto Expo in January 2023. According to Maruti, it can be driven up to 500 km on a single charge. It will be given a battery of 60kWh capacity. However, some more options can also be given in the battery.
As per Jagran, this SUV can get many great features like LED DRL, connected lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree camera, ADAS, and panoramic sunroof.
According to Jagran, Maruti Suzuki will first debut this electric crossover SUV in the European market. Afterward, this is proposed to be introduced in India and Japan. Then it will be launched in other countries as well. In such a situation, its delivery in India is expected to commence probably around March-April. This will be the first electric SUV by Maruti that will be launched in the Indian market together with Tata Curvv, Mahindra XUV 400, and JSW MG ZS EV. Besides this, Hyundai can also bring a Creta EV. After this the competition in this segment will become tougher.
