The sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 saw the first-season champion Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This match, held at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, witnessed the captain of KKR, Ajinkya Rahane, choosing to bowl first after winning the coin toss.

During the toss, captain Rahane said that Sunil Narine wasn't in good health and would not play this game. English all-rounder Moeen Ali has been brought in the playing 11 for him. Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag also told that there has been one change in his team as well. Wanindu Hasranga, the spinner, will play in place of fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqui.
