KKR vs RCB: Virat Kohli will make this big record as he comes on the field today

The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starts today, 22 March, Saturday. Defending champion KKR – Kolkata Knight Riders will play against RCB – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (KKR vs RCB) in the opening match and will do so at the field of the defending champion, i.e., Eden Gardens, Kolkata. It is a special match for Virat Kohli as soon as he steps onto the field, he will have such a record in his name, which is only among a few players' names.

As soon as Virat walks onto the field for KKR's match against RCB, a special milestone will land on his credit. Today, Virat will play his 400th match for T20. Before Virat, just 2 Indians have reached this milestone. As of now, 448 T20 matches have been played by Rohit Sharma, and as of now, 412 T20 matches have been played by Dinesh Karthik.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has also not achieved the feat of playing 400 T20 matches yet. Dhoni has played 391 T20 matches so far. In this season of IPL, Dhoni will also make the record of playing the 400th T20 match.
