IRCTC will launch 'Super App', apart from booking train tickets some extra facilities will be available

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is all set to bring revolution in the travel of trains by launching Super App. This digital platform has been designed in such a way that users can avail the benefit of many railway services in a single app. IRCTC will launch the super app in December. An agreement has been signed between the Center for Railway Information System (CRIS) and IRCTC. This app has been launched in this partnership.
The passengers can henceforth do many types of tasks in a single app, which include booking reserved and unreserved tickets, buying platform tickets, tracking trains, viewing train timetables, PNR status, catering services, and giving feedback. The app may also cover the business-to-business (B2B) segment on booking freight services by logistics companies. The new application is being developed to make the travel experience of millions of rail passengers seamless in digital terms by eliminating the need to toggle between multiple apps such as IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, and Rail Madad.
