IPL 2025: Pakistan took action against Mumbai Indians player, banned him; Know the reason
PCB Ban MI Players From PSL: The South African all-rounder was selected by Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category for Rs 70 lakh, but this player decided to join Mumbai Indians before the start of the tournament.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on a one-year basis. The reason behind this tough decision is Corbin Bosch violated the agreement to play PSL 2025 and signed with Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Boss has given priority to the Indian Premier League rather than the Pakistan Super League.
Corbin Bosch was picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category in the 2025 PSL draft with a salary package of approximately Rs 70 lakh. Subsequently, following March 2025 injuries to Mumbai Indians' bowler Lizard Williams, Bosch was signed on to replace him. Accepting the offer, Bosch had his name removed from the PSL, with the PCB declaring him guilty of breaking the agreement and serving him with legal notice.
The PCB has taken Bosch's move seriously and banned him till PSL 2026. The board believes that such decisions can damage the credibility of the PSL and set a wrong example for other players. Therefore, they have taken disciplinary action and banned Bosch.
Bosch expressed regret over his decision and said, "I deeply regret my decision to withdraw from the PSL and I apologize to the people of Pakistan, Peshawar Zalmi fans, and the cricket community. I fully understand the disappointment caused by my move." He further said, "I take full responsibility for my action and accept the penalty of a fine and a one-year ban from the PSL. It has been a difficult lesson, but I am committed to learning from this experience and hope to return to the PSL in the future with renewed dedication and the trust of the fans."
