India became the fourth largest economy in the world, ahead of Japan; Now aiming to come at number three

At the 10th Niti Aayog Governing Council meeting, Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subramaniam made a comment on the economy of country. We are the fourth largest economy, said Niti Aayog CEO. We are a 4 trillion dollar economy, and this data isn't even mine. This data is from the IMF. We are larger than Japan today. Only the United States, China and Germany are larger than us. If we follow what we are learning, then we are going to be the third-largest economy in a time frame of 2.5 to 3 years.

Subramanian said, "India is at a stage where it can grow very fast, as many countries have done in the past. India has got the blessing of a demographic dividend for the next 20 to 25 years, which can allow us to grow rapidly. The Prime Minister has called upon all the states to prepare a vision document at their level. In this, the blueprint of India's development is already visible. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Niti Aayog chief said that the PM has called upon the states to develop India because it is a long journey.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh also said that India has overtaken Japan to become the fourth-largest economy in the world. He said that developed India has taken a fast step, a big leap! Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making this possible.
