Mohammed Shami finally made it into the Indian squad’s playing 11 for the first time after the finals of the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023. Suryakumar Yadav replaced Mohammed Shami instead of Arshdeep Singh for the third T20 Tournament of India & England being held in Rajkot. India has opted to field first after winning the toss. There has been just one adjustment to the team.

The Indian team has won both the matches consecutively and if it wins this match too, then the series will be in the name of Team India. Suryakumar Yadav said after winning the toss, “We will bowl first, the pitch looks good and hard, I don't think there will be any change in it later. Rajkot has always been a good track, definitely, it will be a sporting track. In the last match, we wanted to play a different kind of cricket, but at the same time you need to understand the situation and Tilak saved the team from defeat. We will look at it as a 3-game series from here, the boys are fully prepared. Arshdeep is resting, Shami is playing today.”
