Identifying government apps will now be effortless due to Google's special labelling
There will be a government baggage with all the government apps. On tapping on this baggage “Play verified this app is affiliated with a government entity” i.e. Play confirms that this app is affiliated with the government.
These days, with lightning-fast internet and deepfakes, it's hard to tell anything apart. Everything is being made fake, including fake profiles and smartphone apps. Fake apps abound in the App Store. To prevent this, the government is prepared. Government apps will now be uniquely identified by a unique label.
To address this, Google and the government have partnered, and as a result, Google has released a new feature. It will be simple to determine whether an app is official or not with the aid of this feature. Google will label government apps, and in addition, a detailed description will be provided.

Google has said that packages of government apps have been installed on about 2,000 apps from countries like Australia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, India, Britain, and America. In India, this baggage can be seen on Digilocker, mAdhaar, NextGen mParivahan, and Voter Helpline apps.
