A record number of 10.8 million tourists was witnessed in Goa in 2025, with more than 500,000 foreign tourists. According to reports, the number of tourists in Goa in 2025 is up compared to the previous years.
From the data offered by the Goa state tourism department on Sunday, Goa has received a total of 10,284,608 domestic and 517,802 foreign visitors in 2025, thus totaling 10,802,410 visitors. Foreign visitors arriving in Goa through charter flights feature prominently in Goa's tourism arrivals from source markets.
Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khunte said on Sunday (January 11) that the government's focus is on promoting quality tourism, diversifying markets, and advancing the coastal state's vision of regenerative tourism, ensuring that its growth benefits local communities, the environment, and the economy in the long run.
