In a conference, Elon Musk talked about the impact of social media on children. He said, 'I urge all parents to keep their children away from social media. “Children are susceptible to AI algorithms that are designed to boost user engagement by maximizing dopamine levels.”
A video of this conference has also been shared by Elon Musk on X. Elon Musk has maintained that young minds are suffering as a result of social media companies' intense competition. He claimed that children should not use social media excessively because of the intense competition between AI systems to produce dopamine hits.
This is not the first time that Elon Musk has said something about the impact of social media on children. Many times before, he has expressed concern about the impact of Facebook and Instagram on children.
