Diwali will be lit up with solar energy that will benefit 1.3 crore people
Energy: This time too, diyas lit with solar energy have been launched in the market. Market experts believe that the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to promote solar energy, it is very possible that the market will be flooded with solar energy lamps in next year's Diwali.

Diwali is usually celebrated by burning oil in clay lamps, but as more people utilise electrical gadgets, they are now using electronic garlands and diyas. However, go ahead and prepare to celebrate Diwali with solar-powered diyas.
Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen to support solar energy, it is possible that the market will be filled with solar-powered diyas for Deepawali next year, which will contribute to reducing the Diwali festival's carbon footprint. This is the second time that solar-powered diyas have entered the market.
Even today, some solar-powered lamps have hit the market. These five hundred to seven hundred rupee lamps can be kept in solar energy for the whole day and can provide continuous light for five to six hours. Color-changing and music-producing systems are also provided in some of them. Such diyas are slowly becoming the first choice of customers in the market.
Raman Bhatia, MD of Sarvotech - a company working in the field of solar energy, told Amar Ujala that with the invention of LED lights, very little energy is consumed now to generate light and this is the reason that now light is available almost throughout the night from a battery charged in normal sunlight during the day.
Presently, it is in its initial phase but moving at a great pace. The way Prime Minister Narendra Modiji has promoted the solar energy-the people are getting all the awareness regarding it, and the use of the solar energy equipment is in raised. Once these solar energy lamps become popular among the common people, they can be used as the first choice of the people because their cost is paid once and then they can be used for a long time.
To incentivize solar energy, the central and state governments have brought in a scheme for subsidiary benefits. Currently, a subsidy of as much as Rs 78,000 is granted for installation in a rooftop solar. So far, over 18 lakh consumers have registered to avail the benefit of this scheme. The central government wanted to take its benefit to one crore families, but so far 1.30 crore people have registered to get information about it. Looking at this, it is believed that this scheme can prove to be a big hit. The whole country can get its benefit.
