Amanda in the final after defeating Sabalenka, top seed Aryna Sabalenka became a victim of upset

Amanda defeated Sabalenka with a bold game and huge confidence. With this victory, Amanda extended her head-to-head record versus Sabalenka to 6-3 and preserved America's chances of gaining the third women's Grand Slam winner of the year.

The temperature on the Center Court had reached 30 degrees Celsius and Sabalenka gave cold water and ice packs to two sick spectators in the middle of the match to help them.
