CBI Raid: 7 people arrested in bribery case, 26.60 lakh cash also recovered, raids continue at many places

The Central Bureau of Investigation has achieved great success. CBI has arrested 7 people including the owner of a company in a bribery case. The agency has also recovered Rs 26.60 lakh in cash and many objectionable documents in the raid.

According to news agency ANI, the Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested seven accused, including the owner of a private company, private individuals, the executive secretary of the CMD of Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited (a public servant) in an alleged bribery case of Rs 19.96 lakh. Have done. CBI is raiding many places of the arrested accused including Kolkata, Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Rajkot. In the action, the CBI seized many incriminating documents, digital evidence, and Rs 26.60 lakh (approximately) in cash.

The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting raids at many places in the country as part of the anti-corruption campaign. Last Tuesday, Chief Principal Material Manager KC Joshi, posted at the Railway Office in UP Gorakhpur, was caught red-handed while taking a bribe. CBI had raided his residence in Gorakhpur and Noida along with the railway office here till late night. According to sources, the CBI team had also recovered Rs 50 lakh in cash from the residence located in Sector 50 of Noida.
