More than 5,400 cases have been filed in the US Federal Court against Dabur India's three subsidiaries Namaste Laboratories LLC, Dermoviva Skin Essentials Inc., and Dabur International. Dabur is accused of causing diseases like cancer due to its hair relaxer products.
Regarding this, Dabur India said that the cases in the US Federal Court are still in the initial stage and nothing can be said right now. The company said that all the allegations against it are unproven, and have been made on the basis of a baseless and incomplete study.
After this matter came to light, Dabur's stock market witnessed a decline of 1.22% on Thursday. Due to this it slipped by Rs 6.50 and closed at Rs 527.50.
