Luxury electric MPV MG M9 launching in India; Know details along with price, range and features

JSW MG Motor India on Monday launched its new electric MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) MG M9 EV in India. Its ex-showroom price has been maintained at below Rs 70 lakh. The company will begin its delivery from August 10. This car has been launched in the premium electric segment, which will face direct competition from cars like Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. M9 EV is the first model of the MG Select series and has been brought in as a completely feature-loaded electric MPV. This vehicle will be sold via high-end retail channels alongside the automaker's other intriguing electric vehicle, MG Cyberster.

This electric luxury MPV features a front-wheel-drive system, and its electric motor produces 245 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The car features a 90 kWh battery pack. Which claims to give a range of 548 km on a single charge.

The MG M9 EV has a boxy MPV design, which makes it quite attractive. It has low-mounted headlamps, large front and rear overhangs, and wide connected taillights. Inside the cabin, you will find a premium upholstery combination of brown and black, which extends across all three rows. The special thing is that powered captain seats have been provided for the rear passengers, which is one of the major features of this MPV.
