India's first hybrid motorcycle 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid launched; Know details

Yamaha Motor India has introduced the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid in India. Its ex-showroom price has been set at approximately Rs 1.5 lakh. Yamaha says that it is the first hybrid motorcycle in the 150cc category. Several changes have been made in this new model, such as new engines, new technology, and new advanced features. The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi hybrid motorcycle features a 149cc Blue Core engine, which meets OBD2 emission norms. It comes with Yamaha's Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop and Start System (SSS) technology.

With SMG technology, the noise is minimized while starting the engine, while battery assist provides faster acceleration. At the same time, the SSS technology enables the bike to provide greater mileage. It automatically turns off the engine when the bike halts in traffic and starts it again as soon as the clutch is pressed. This saves fuel and improves the performance of the bike.

The model for the year 2025 comes with a 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster that can be linked to the smartphone through the Wi-Connect app. In addition, it comes with turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation, which is linked to Google Maps in order to provide real-time directions, road names, and intersection details.
